Master plan for the redevelopment of a 10ha site along the Grand Union Canal and River Soar, planned as a sustainable extension of the urban regeneration strategy.

The proposal outlines a diverse mix of town houses, apartments and live+work spaces with shops, a new nursery and playgrounds plus future connections to the National Space Centre.

The proposed Linear Park is a reference to Charles Bennion (1857-1929), managing director of BUSM, who presented Leicester with the 850 acres of Bradgate Park in 1928.

The first phase of the redevelopment is located along Hildyard Road and Ross Walk, providing 191 townhouses and apartments.
